“Kia K5 New Version: Unique Details Unexpectedly Appear on Korean Streets”

Recently, a new version of the Kia K5 appeared on Korean roads, defeating all disguises. Although there is no official information from the manufacturer, the sudden appearance of this Kia K5 has attracted the attention of the car-loving community.

The Korean automaker has revealed the mid-life upgraded version of the Kia K5, however, much information is still kept secret. However, an upgraded Kia K5 appeared on the street without any camouflage. Based on the video, it can be seen that this may be the Kia K5 GT-Line version. A notable point is the characteristic orange light on the wheel arches, which usually only appears on versions for the US market. This leads to speculation that the Kia K5 GT-Line could be exported to the United States.

If compared with the Kia K5 for the US and Korean markets, based on images in the video and information from the manufacturer, there is not a big difference. The new version of the Kia K5 is equipped with a new grille with honeycomb mesh, adjusted LED headlights and LED daytime running lights with integrated turn signal function.

The GT-Line version is designed to be sportier with a wing-shaped front bumper and large air vents at two corners. The car also comes with a set of two-color scratched wheels. Out back, you’ll find new taillights that extend down to the rear bumper. Unfortunately, the car only has a simple single exhaust pipe at the bottom.

Although there are no interior images yet, the manufacturer has revealed that the upgrade will have a curved screen with integrated driving clock and 12.3-inch center screen. In addition, equipment such as soundproofing, Digital Key 2 lock, fingerprint scanner, HUD screen, and many other active safety features are also expected.

Information about the operating configuration of the Kia K5 has not yet been announced, but it is highly unlikely that there will be any significant changes. The car can be equipped with a 1.6L turbocharged gasoline engine, 180 horsepower and 264 Nm of torque, combined with an 8-speed automatic transmission and 4-wheel or front-wheel drive system.

As for the version with a larger 2.5L turbocharged gasoline engine, with 290 horsepower, 421 Nm of torque, and an 8-speed wet dual-clutch automatic transmission. However, unfortunately the car only has the option of front-wheel drive.

The selling price of Kia K5 in the US market has not yet been disclosed, while in Korea, the converted price ranges from 507 million to 720 million VND. In Vietnam, this car model is priced from 859 million to 999 million VND for 3 different versions, and has had good sales with from 70 to nearly 150 cars sold monthly.
